yes sue you need a medical ID bracelet so if something happens after surgery and you cant tell them your a wls patient they will know not to give you a blind NG tube (nasal gastric tube) cause it can puncture your pouch, and so they wont give you nsaid meds (pill form) that can block your rerouted system. dont forget to put your other allergies or important info like diebetic or like me, I am severly allergic to penicillian (and I forgot to have it put on there so I gotta get it engraved again).
