Inexpensive Clothing suggestions :)

Hi All I noticed on the board where some people were asking about clothing. I've been an Ebay seller for years and know some "hidden treasures" in the Jackson area for those of you interested In Madison on Hwy. 51 there's a very high end consignment shop called "Private Collection" they sell clothing (business and casual), shoes, purses and accessories of all kinds (including household goods) ... ALL of their items are in EXCELLENT condition and all NAME Brand. They have wonderful sales and always have part of their merchandise on sale. Up to 90% off ... This is MY personal favorite consignment store. Then, in Brandon by Mazzio's there's a store called "Label's" .. All his items ARE NEW with tags intact. All his merchandise is boutique and designer clothing and shoes. Right now everything in the store is 75% off. This store truly is a hidden teasure .. if you go in ask for AK and tell him Kim the Ebay lady sent you He's the nicest guy and will let you know what he has coming in too! Also in Brandon there's a consignment shop called "Consigner's Boutique" it's right across from McAllister's Deli ... they sell kids and women's upscale clothing for GREAT prices. Never forget Hudson's ...the one in Ridgeland is by FAR the best one and worth the drive! I'll keep posting more as I have time ... it's also a GREAT idea to swap your larger clothing out and just get credits for the one's you'll need thru this journey! Hugz, Kimberly

Thanks for that GREAT info. What ID do you sell under on ebay ? I am a big fan of ebay !!! When any one of us from this site sells on ebay, we should start putting "AMOS" in our item descriptions somewhere. That way we could always do a search for "AMOS" & then we could all support each other. Tammy

You might also try the Kellwood outlets. There are several in South Miss. There is one in Brookhaven, and one in McComb. They sell the same clothes that McRaes sells at about one-fourth the price. Kellwood sews for quite a few of the name-brand companies in the US. They carry large sizes down to teeny tiny sizes, and a big range of sizes for men too! I love their jeans, they are from those up-scale catalogues like LL Bean. They also have great coats, many, many sizes and sometimes even underwear!! Dollar for Dollar they are a huge savings! They have dressing rooms too so you can try on things.... Then you can stop by and visit me in Brookhaven! Cheryl

Hey Kim I know where Private Collection, and labels are but I dont know where the hudsons in Ridgeland is!!???!!! I LOVE HUDSONS!!!!! and DIRT CHEAP!!!!! I can spend hours and hours (literally) in those 2 stores just digging and sometimes walk out with nothing.....shocking huh!! I know where the ones on terry rd and on hwy 80 are (hudsons that is)but I am always up for a good scratch fest!!!! So let me know!!! thanks hun!! God Bless, Angie Bea

Angie, Hudson's in Ridgeland is right off Hwy 51 ... take the County Line Rd. exit go straight across and follow the frontage rd. to Hwy. 51 ...take a right and it's maybe a mile and a half on the left Happy shoppin' Kimberly

Great info!! In Laurel/Ellisville area Shirley's is one of my fav's lately. Lots of summer clothes (White Stag) for 2.99-5.99. Also Lane Bryant and Romans catalog stuff. NOt massive amounts but shopping often I find bargains.
