6 week Drs. visit
Went to see Dr. King in Oxford today for my 6 week checkup. Everything still going good. He stepped me up to soft foods now. Mainly eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese, peanut butter, cheese, crackers, potatoes and dried beans and peas. All low fat of course. I had lost 24 more pounds, so that's 47 in all. I really still don't have much of an appetite, but I quess the new variety will keep me from getting bored. Will update again in 6 weeks.

A bit of "unsolicited advice"
Add just one new food at a meal.
That way if it causes you nausea,
You can detect the "culprit" pretty easily.
If you add a couple of new foods,
You won't be sure which one caused the problems.

I waited until this morning to start the new foods. I bought egg substitute and microwaved 1/4 cup, which is supposed to be one egg. I ate about half of it and got to feeling a little full so I quit. I quess it suited my pouch fine, so after about 30 minutes I went and walked my hour. Gonna try the cottage cheese and crackers for lunch.
