I am sorry you have been feeling bad. That gallbladder can make you feel bad. I had my Rny in January of 2004 and had my gallbladder taken out in December 2004. I felt much better after it was gone. I hope you will too. Good luck. Melissa Taylor Lap Rny 1/15/04 5'4" tall 31 yrs old 277/136 -141 pounds

I sure hope and pray all goes well with you, Jaunine. I fought the "gallbladder demon" for years before giving into surgery last year and I KNOW how sick it makes you. You'll feel like a new person when it's all over. God bless! Rebecca

I will be thinking about you during your surgery. Dr. S put me on Actigal twice daily for the first six months after surgery to try avoid the gall bladder problems common after WLS. I am REALLY hoping it works!! james.

Good Luck!!! Gallbladders are nasty little things! Before I had mine removed I blamed everyone I knew for giving me a stomach virus! All the time it was a pesky gallbladder doing bad things. You will feel much better without the hernia and the gallbladder. Also had a major hernia fixed too, mesh is a wonderful thing!!!!
