Iris, I think those results are pretty good. Not everyone will lose 100 pounds immediately. I've heard mention of people hitting a plateau around this point. Hang in there and just follow dietary guidelines. I bet in a few weeks you'll wake up 10 more pounds gone. HUGS Kimberly

I haven't had my surgery yet but from reading these posts several people have hit the same plateau. Some have said that increasing their protein restarted their loss. Hang in there! Shoot,,I think you are doing great. I am looking forward to being on the losing side soon also. Good luck!!

Hey Iris! Don't get discouraged! You are doing great. PLEASE don't weigh everyday, tho....Your weight will bounce up and down somewhat. No more than once a week. I only weigh once a month on my anniversary date - it helps that I have no scales and have to run by my doc's (PCP) to weigh. The picnic is June 5 and I think starts at 11 am. It will be at Kamper Park in H'burg. PLEASE come! It will be good to see you again, and I will really notice the weight loss! Bring a dish and drinks (no alchohol) for you and family. The folks in the 200s when they start usually don't lose as fast as us fluffier folks. We have more fluids to get get out and loose like gangbusters - to begin with. You are doing great tho. Hang on!
