I'm So Happy

Hey Gang, I am so happy that I just had to share the news with y'all. My daughter is getting married July 2nd and I didn't have anything to wear. And I didn't have the $$ to just go out and buy something for a one time deal and plus I won't be able to wear it many times cause of losing weight so rapidly. I was talking to my oldest daughter and she reminded me that she had given me a big box of clothes right after I had surgery in Sept of last year. She told me that there is a real pretty dress in there with a jacket that might fit me by now. So, I went in there and looked through the clothes. And low and behold there it was. I tried it on and it fits perfect. And the best part about all this, it's the same color as the colors in the wedding. Oh... and it's a 2X!!!!!! I don't remember being in a 2X since I was about 16!!!!!! Hope that all is having a good day! I am!!! Jo 444/414/293/-151 ( 8 month anniversary will be friday)

Way to go, Jo!! Thats great! I know you feel great! Right after surgery some friends brought me a whole bunch of clothes. I remember thinking -I will never get into these but took them anyway and guess what.. I am wearing them now in shock! Sometimes I get something out of my closet and think I cant wear this tiny little pair of pants - I put it on and it fits. Its a great feeling. Will we ever get out of that mindset that we have lost all of this weight and start to see ourselves smaller? In the back of my mind I still think I am fat and for the longest time I would not throw out my fat clothes... fearing that I may need them again. You are doing great. I wont be surpised if you will be too small for that by the time the wedding gets here. But I am crossing my fingers for you!
