I'm a loser!! YEA BABY!

Hello my MS family! I just wanted to let y'all know how I'm doing! ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Thank God! I walked around wal-mart almost 2 hrs (15 mins shy)! And was up and about the house too! Today I have been up and about! Living on sugar free popsicles bc i love the taste! I tried to sleep on my tummy last night a lil too soon! But give me a few days and I will be! Its so hard for a tummy sleeper to sleep good not being on ur tummy! LOL! I have my 10 day check up on the 24 at 1 pm! Thats all for now! ~April~ Lap RNY 21 yrs old, 5'1, 231 lbs 231 lbs/???/120 lbs

April, Girl you are doing so good. It is great that you are up and about so soon. I was a baby for a little while. Just didn't have much energy really weak. Anyway its great to hear your doing good and you feel good. Keep it up. Becky

Wouldn't you know that some bubbly, cheerful, 21 year old would come on here and talk about being able to walk around Wal-Mart before she is even 10 days out! Just kiddin' darlin! That's WONDERFUL!!! I'm releived to see that someone has felt so good afterwards and was able to have some kind of activity that lasts longer than 15 minutes so soon! You give me hope! Keep us posted! We'll be waiting to hear how the 10 day appointment goes! I think I'll go into surgery chanting - "I'm 21, I'm 21" HUGS Kimberly ps..... "you give me hope" - I almost broke out in song there LOL But then I realized that you probably wouldn't even recognize the song and would not appreciate the humor in it! And even worse - I'd give away my age!

Its great that you are up and about! That is a real good way to heal quickly. It wasnt until my staples were out that I could sleep on my stomach. They came out at 10 days and I was on my stomach that night. Best rest I have had since surgery! Sounds like you are doing really good and you seem so HAPPY! Congrats! You are doing great I have my first check up since my surgery on 5/02 also on 5/24 too and can't wait you are doing so well, trust me another few days you should be able to sleep on your stomach. keep it going lisa
