OT: Monkey Grass & Plastic Pots Help

I NEED SOME HELP BIG TIME..... Does anyone have or know of anyone who has some Monkey Grass to give away ? I can get it dug up & haul it away. I'm in desperate need of some & I hate to pay what they are wanting at the local plant stores. Here in town, it is around $4.50 for a 3 quart container. And to top it off, there isn't very much in the pot. And if you have or have access to 1 gallon plastic type flower pots, I need them also. Any info or help would be great. Thanks Everyone, Tammy I have Free Canna's to give away also. Some are Red & some are Yellow. My yard is being took over by them. Well, not really, it just looks that way. Tammy

Hey Tammy, if you can wait until I come home in July I can give you some. I live in Brookhaven area, if that is close by, and I have tons of the stuff! By the way, you can separate it into little bits and put it out and with fertilizer, it will spread like wildfire! It doesnt take but a few clumps of it to make a nice border!

Oh Thank you Thank You Thank You !!! That would be great. I'll be more than glad to take all you can spare. I'm not sure just how far away you are, but the trip could be worth it. To give you an idea of just how much I am needing to aquire. *** Not saying that you have this much to get rid of, mind you. *** But..... I'm wanting to put it all the way around the side walks to our swimming pool. Our pool is an 18' X 36' w/a 4' walk all the way around it. So I need to find enough to cover 124'. We may just have to do a little section at the time, but that is OK too. It will all get done sooner or later. We did go buy 5 pots of it, brought it home, cut & divided it into 4ths. Thinking that it would be enough to go around my Koi pond. Yeah, thinking was all that happened. We only got about 3/4's of it done & that was spacing it about 12"-14" apart. So, now I have to go back & get at least 3 more pots. That should do it, if the pots are full with a good size plant in them. We are going to "Miracle Grow" it alot, so maybe it will hurry & fill in. When were done, we'll have about $40. just around the Koi Pond. There is no telling how much it would cost to do the swimming pool area. So any amount that you are willing to give me would be great !!! Thank You again !!!! Tammy

I just knew this was a Rick and Bubba post with the MOnkey Grass, but I will ask a friend who grows EVERYTHING and grows it very well if she has any. I think Sissie may have some of those pots.
