C-PAP QUESTON?
Can anybody tell me about what you know about the doctor sending you to ICU after surgery if you wear a C-PAP machine. I have heard different stories about this. Can someone please enlighten me on this matter. I was just curious about this. I know to take it to the hospital but was wondering about ICU.
Thanks,
Nan
Take the CPAP with you. At Keesler, if you are on a CPAP you automatically spend the first night in ICU and you must use your CPAP....Different hospitals may have different rules, but take it with you!

PS I spent 2 nights in ICu. The first due to the CPAP and the second because they couldn't get anymore blood outta me, but I was fine!!! I had to stay until they could get some blood - all my IVS gave up the ghost!
