Hey guys, I just wanted to drop in and let yall know that since May 2nd, 2005 I have lost a total of 22 pounds, and a total of 48 pounds from my highest (when I started the gym). They removed my drain (thank god!!) and everything has been great since then. I have been able to drink eaisly, i liquified some beans the other night, and I have some wonderful mushed taters! I am also gonna liquify some red beans tonight hopefully. I even took a walk today with my mom and austin down to the pond to watch the fish and turtles. (my mom is torturing me right now she is frying okra, and steak, plus making red beans, sasuage and rice) So I am about ready to strangle her lol ( not really) it smells good and all but i am not even interested in trying to eat it, the grease is what i smell and i dont like it, but I never ate very much fried stuff anyways. I will just stick to my mushed taters and crystal light and that other stuff I got in the cabinet..lol well I gotta go mom wants me to come help her cook!! lol Love Yall! Angie Bea 486/460/438

Hey Angie, You are doing great!! Sweet potatoes made like mashed taters is real good too and better for you than the white potatoes are. I lived on sweet taters for the first little while when I was put on the pureed stage. I have eaten steak a couple of times and it worked for me, but I can't do ground beef or any type of pork yet. Grease does not work good for me at all, it will make me throw up. My pouch is very sensitive to any grease. I can eat a french fry or two but that is it. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see you at the bash next month! Rhonda

Hey Angie That is so good about your progress. I look like I am losing but don't really feel like it. I have had fluid this week and that is probably the culprit. I can't wait until my ckup this Tues.. I will post my news then. Since April 4th I am anxious to see what the numbers are. Love ya Jane Arlies mentioned cup-a-soup on her post and I love it. Just a suggestion. ANd applesauce that is flavored with strawberries.

You go girl...I'm so proud of you. It feels great to be part of the losers, doesn't it!?!?! Greasy food and eating too fast will do me in every time. Take your time, chew chew chew and then chew some more. Stay on program and you'll do great. June RNY 03/14/2005
