Food Card?

Now, Tams, don't be bashful...tell us what you really think!!!!!! I will use mine if the place honors them, but I will ALSO be very understanding and kindly if they don't. The "lady" that pulled that trick at the Chinese place I went to should be ashamed of herself. IF she has had surgery, she is in big trouble.......if she hasn't, well, her Momma didn't raise her right....... Smoochies Arlies love you very much, Miss Outspoken!!!

How about this.... If I'm eatting out with you, after I've had surgery mind you.... You can ask about a discount for us !!! I can't do it !!! Sorry I wish I could. I guess I just feel guilty by letting my own mouth get me to this size. And I just don't want to "put anyone else out" because of it. Too many people have already been "put out" because of my size. I depend on too many people to help me with things. I just want to be IN-DE-PEND-ANT I guess And I didn't say in "Depends" Love you Too Brave Lady !!! Tammy

Hey Tammy Yeah I know what you mean, no one forced us to eat and get obese. I'm right with you there. I'm also happy to save a buck anytime I can, just because I can. Needless to say those cards are pretty much useless these days. My SIL had surgery a year before me and she raved about her card, she got discounts everywhere. By the time I got surgery, forget it!!!! So this is my solution : I bring my card anyways. If I go to a restaurant and pay full price for a meal, I take the leftovers home. No Big Deal ! Also I feel like I shouldn't be paying $10.00 for the all u-can-eat chinese buffet, because I can barely eat a cup of food at the most!! So when they say "Oh sorry, we don't accept that card", I politely ask them for a buffet to go. I used to go to lunch all the time with my coworkers, so we just discussed that subject, and came to the conclusion, we are not going to buffets to eat but to take out. So to enjoy each others' company, they do the same, bring food back to work and we have our "buffet" in the breakroom instead. Works out just fine, AND I get to eat for three days off of that one carry out box OR bring it home and within hours, the scavengers get hold of it....
