Ok folks for my update: I talk to them every single day, sometimes twice a day. So far this is where I am at. 1. The RN Nurse pre-cert reviewer approved me. 2. The Doctor pre-cert reviewer approved me. 3. Now she is waiting on a call back from the insurance company as they have the final say. Apparently since my plan is self funded, Future Health (pre-cert. area) only does the prelimary precertifying and the provides their findings to the insurance company itself and they make the final approval since the money will be coming from their pocket. I spoke with them this morning and they said that they had a voice mail from the insurance company lady that said she hasn't been able to get hold of the person who makes the final decision but she would keep trying, maybe they were out of the office yesterday. GOOD LORD does this ever end ?????

Sue I am so sorry you have had to go thru all the mess. I know how you feel, I am still fighting with UMC, trying to get a date. Let's just keep smiling. No one seems to understand the time is slowly killing us. I was diagnosed with Type 2 dibetese on Friday, May 6. I think now I quailify for all the comorbidility requirements. Smiles, Jan

Gosh Jan, I am so sorry, my brother was diagnosed with it 2 weeks ago. My whole family has it, I am only one so far. Why can't you get a date? What's going on with you and them? Sue

Hey Sue, I really don't understand the problem. Just when I think everything is done, Joyce finds something else for me to do. I'll just keep waiting.

WHEW!!! I am just so tired, Susie Q from reading all your woes with the insurance company and docs.....there oughta be a law.....isn't there one??? Let me decree one: The Queen hereby decrees that there is a law against waiting forever and a day (like you and Jan and Sherry and Tammy) for surgery! So now you just tell them I said so and it will all be taken care of OR I will decree OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!!! Hang in there, girl, you bout got 'em whipped! Smoochies Arlies
