What did you eat today?
I would like to start this and all who will respond thanks. I am having a hard time with what to try. I am scared of everything. I am now eating mashed potatoes with lots of gravy, I have discoved the diabetic form of ensure and that is a great source of protein. I water it down with milk to add more protein.
I ate 3 saltines in milk and that was good. I love the broth from soups and veggies. I am just wondering what you are eating at the point you are at in your wls life.

Starting out at a size 30-32 dress, I felt good in my 26 yesterday for mother's day. Just a little WOW moment.
Jane,
What I eat NOW,
Is very different from "What I ate Then!"
Are you just now on "mechanical Soft foods?"
I would suggest cutting down/out the
Empty Carbs, or "Low- Nutrient Carbs"
Such as Mashed Potatoes, Saltines and such.
Some of my favorites early on were-
Fat Free, Re-Fried Beans with a slice of Low-fat or plain cheese.
Cottage Cheese with pepper, or something to spice it up.
Soft Scrambled Eggs, with cheese.
(If you add a tablespoon of water per egg, they will stay
"Easy on the pouch.")
Low-Fat and or Sugar Free Yogurt, of all types.
Just my suggestions.
Check the list from the Doctor to see what they suggest.
Best Wishes-
Dx
Breakfast: 1 coffee shake
Lunch: 3 bites of crab cake and about 5 potaters (made me very sick- think it was the grease in the crab cake)
Supper: 1 Cheese Krystal (without bottom bread)
Yall I have found myself addicted to Krystal burgers. I need some serious fussing happening here to get me away from them. I have eaten a Krystal everyday for the past 4 days.
Did you hear yourself? "A Krystal everyday for the past 4 days"...Let me repeat that "A Krystal...." That's "A Krystal", not a bag of 10 Krystals, but "A Krystal". That's not bad, especially since you are ditching part of the bun!!! So ease up on yourself! I tried a Krystal. Got so very sick!!!
Send directions and times, etc.

Try some cup-a-soup with milk and fat-free cheese in the tomato or just milk in the cream of chicken or broccoli and cheese. I confess that I put crackers (4 in mine, but I am 4 months out). I also eat baked potato with cheese, soft cooked broccoli, and ranch dressing. As you go along, you will find some "old standards" for yourself that always make your tummy happy - in my case if I am having a hard time, baked potato w/cheese or cup-a-soup helps, but I usually eat at least one cup-a-soup per day.....
Breakfast: 1 tomato cup-a-soup with skim milk & cheese and 3 cheese crackers (Tom's Nabs)
Lunch: 1 string cheese, 1 cube cheddar cheese
Supper: 3 bites of salad, and three bites of a drummet with the crust pulled off......(This all came up....I KNEW i should've left that chicken alone.)
2nd Supper: Rest of salad (before the first supper, the salad was 1/2 a small cereal bowl.) and 1/2 inch slice of ham and cheese rollup with lettuce and cream cheese.
Snacks: 1 sugar-free popsicle and 2 cups popcorn (Not at the same time.)
You are doing great!!!
