Dry mouth?

I had my surgery on April 13 so I'm on a full liquid diet now. Everything is going fine except I keep a bad case of the cotton mouth all the time. The good part about it is I get plenty of water everyday, I'm continually sipping to relieve the dry mouth condition. My meds are Prevacid, Effexor, Flinstones and B1. I also take a couple of lactaids everyday. Is dry mouth common or do you think one of the meds is contributing to it?

Yes and Yes You're fine, PJ, just hang in there and I can't stress enough how important getting you 64oz+ in each and every single day. The more the better !! In time the cotton mouth will stop and you'll feel totally normal again, if you have any doubts at all about your meds, please call the doctor, and till then, sip sip sip sip sip sip sip Take care and God Bless ~Andie~
