More INSURANCE CRAPOLA

Well as my "hell" goes on. Needless to say I am going back and forth with the insurance company daily. Even though I faxed them 5 years worth of gyne. visits and diets they put me on and pills etc.... They are still saying that only once a year for a follow up medical visit is not enough to satisfy their requirements. The last time I was on Atkins, they told me to record my intake daily. So I printed all that years worth of pages and am faxing that to them. Maybe they will approve me just to get rid of me. Doc in Ins. is supposed to go over my paperwork today and I should know something later today. I am NOT going to take this lying down, I am NOT going to have to go through another year's worth of supervised dieting. Will post results in a couple of hours. Sue

Lord it is like inching and crawling your way through a mine field. I talked to insurance company again and out of all those 5 years worth of physician's notes I sent them, the doctor was only able to validate 6 months worth. So the nurse asked me if I kept any detailed logs of the weight loss and I said yes, I belonged to an Atkins forum and we posted our progress weekly. She said great, fax it to me and I won't do the denial until late Monday and I will put it in there for reconsideration and if it has 6 months worth of documentation we should be good to go. She is actually very nice and understanding, just hope she knows what she is talking about. I found that old website and printed 18 pages of Progress Postings. Now we will wait and see on Monday.
