Just a note..

Yall this is just a note to apologize for being bossy,preachy, and pushy about the picnic( re: publicity) Yes- I think it best to keep it within the board family. What was I thinking? I just let my thought out of the bubble w/o thinking it through. See I'm not used to having ideas. I have to do a reality check. Too bad I put it in print to let everyone know that I should have thought it through first. The Hattiesburg girls are doing a great job of getting things together for all of us to enjoy. I appreciate their work. The t-shirt is going to look great. Thanks yall. I can't wait for June 5th. You all mean so much to me. I expect to meet and get a hug from everyone who posts on here. Glenda, You don't need to apologize. If it weren't for you we wouldn't be doing the t-shirts. You speak up when you think and we will do just as we done talk about it. There is nothing wrong with that. You have given us many good ideas keep em coming. Becky

Hey, there is absolutely nothing to forgive. I know where you were coming from. We have been given the gift of a second chance at living a healthy life, and we get excited and want everyone to have that same chance. I think a picnic sponsored by surgeons and protein drink and protein bar companies to make the information available in a fun way is a great idea. Plus they would have the added bonus of speaking to people like us who have actually had the surgery and get first hand information. That is something we may want to plan later down the road. The fact that you thought about inviting everyone just goes to show how thoughtful and kind hearted you are towards others. Of course, we all know this already as you are always here giving support to anyone who needs it locally and on the boards. You mean alot to all of us too. I am excited about the picnic, but of course I hope to see you before then as we have a meeting coming up soon. We missed you at the last one. Melissa Taylor

Glenda, I am looking forward to my HUG! You were so sweet to have the vision to include the entire state. Maybe in the future, we can get AMOS to come to Mississippi for a convention. Just think of all the speakers we could get to come. Maybe Amy Williams, Susan Maria, and many others. Just keep up the thinking, some of us are a little slow, like me. I will see you at H'burg. I think it was a GREAT idea but I just didnt think we could pull it off in time. I think we should do it further down the road too. Dont stop thinking though! You really have had some great ideas.
