Believe it or not I am home and feel much better since I am home. I'm still extremely sore, how long will this take and go away. but it is easing up litlle by litlle. thanks for all the support and flowers dx e and everyone. I will keep you updated, just tell me when the soreness will go away. he he he. but it will get better, I have faith

Hey Lisa, Glad you got to go on home. Take it easy now for the first couple of weeks. Do walk when ever you can. You'll feel better faster. And It Does get easier every week! Keep us posted- Best Wishes- Dx

Hi Lisa, wow, home so soon!! Excellent, your doc must be very happy, and I'm sure youre extremely glad to be home. The soreness will stick with you for a few days or weeks, depending on the surgery. I had open RNY and after 2 weeks it was almost gone. Three weeks out I could have gone back to work. That all would have been excellerated had I not had tubes and drains and stuff coming out of me Just hang in there, walk walk walk and sip sip sip, that's the key. Walking will help you tremendously to get all the gas worked out of your body and to loosen your muscles up. Can't stress that enough. Welcome to the "Losers". Now the fun part starts, watch those pounds rolling off and don't get frustrated with head hunger or depression. It's all perfectly normal and we all went through it. Lisa, Its great to hear your home. The soreness will get better just give it a little time. I'm so glad your doing good. Isn't the hospital in Oxford great. Good luck with recovery. Becky
