Believe it or not I am home and feel much better since I am home.

but it is easing up litlle by litlle. thanks for all the support
and flowers dx e and everyone.
I will keep you updated, just tell me when the soreness
will go away. he he he. but it will get better, I have faith
Hi Lisa,
wow, home so soon!! Excellent, your doc must be very happy, and I'm sure youre extremely glad to be home. The soreness will stick with you for a few days or weeks, depending on the surgery. I had open RNY and after 2 weeks it was almost gone. Three weeks out I could have gone back to work. That all would have been excellerated had I not had tubes and drains and stuff coming out of me
Just hang in there, walk walk walk and sip sip sip, that's the key. Walking will help you tremendously to get all the gas worked out of your body and to loosen your muscles up. Can't stress that enough.
Welcome to the "Losers". Now the fun part starts, watch those pounds rolling off and don't get frustrated with head hunger or depression. It's all perfectly normal and we all went through it. We're here if you need us.
