Continuation of Insurance Problems

OK everyone, keep your fingers crossed. I called my gyne today and told them what I was trying to do. They said the best thing to fax them would be the doctor's notes from each visit. They looked back and found all the way back to 2000 where each visit had something to do with weight problems, weight loss or associated problems. It shows where they took me off the Atkins Diet and put me on South Beach and it also shows where they put me on Xenical once. It also shows where I was put on antidepressants for weight issues. Each year has entries pertaining to weight and weight loss issues. I have faxed it to BCBS and lord I hope it works. The lady there sounded like she wanted documented records on a monthly basis for a year, which I don't have, but I do have one for each year. Reckon that will be good enough??? Sue

I didn't have to get involved, "in the trenches" Of the insurance issues. But it does sound like you've got the documentation They need. Got my fingers crossed that you get good news soon. Yea DX I am going through Liv-Lite. I have not filled out anything except the initial form on the Liv-Lite website to get my referral. And to be completely honest, I sorta feel like a lost child when I talk to them. They don't seem proactive on any of this and I always have to call them back not vice versa. I keep telling myself maybe they are just real busy. Sue
