What can I expect?

when i had mine done she talked with me about y i wanted surgery and stuff like that. then did a personality inventory. nothing too major although there were alot of tears shed. lol crystal -65lbs 229 to 164

Rebecca, When I had my psyh. exam it was nothing too it. She talked to me a little while and got a little history and then I had to take a test I think it is called the MMPI or something like that it was like 500 questions but it is all about you and how you feel. Some of it is crazy. Anyway it wasn't bad at all. Becky Ps where is Summit?

Depends on where you have it done. I did mine in H'burg and then transferred it to Jackson. It was funny the WLS program was new and the psych Dr. put me through a complete workup. About 4 HOURS!!!! Janet at Dr. Whitehead's office tripped out when I told her. But really just tell the truth. YOu will be fine. Glenda

Thanks, everyone! I'll just be glad to get it over with. I've suffered with depression for most of my adult life, mainly because of my weight. I hope that won't count against me.
