What are you wearing today?

Since losing weight, I have found shopping to be so much fun. I have found that I care more about what I wear and take more time to look nice. I guess it is because I feel better and am not so down on myself like I used to be. So how do you dress differently now that you are smaller? I used to wear really big shirts to cover up. Now I wear stuff that actually is the correct size and fits. Today I have on some really cute black crop pants that have a cuff at the bottom and a tie belt. I have on a black, white, and salmon colored vertically striped top. I have on some black sandals with a small heel. I am wearing some cute chunky jewelry to accessorize. So what are you wearing today? And, Denise, I am sure wherever you are you are just too cute today and dressed to a T. So come on and tell us all what you are wearing today, girlfriend. Interesting that you posted this ... I would never have worn the shirt I have on today in the past. I have on black flat loafers, black hose, black straight legged pants (fitting), a pink striped shirt (stripes across---who would ever think) and a fitted pink over shirt. I learned from observing others at support meetings that they looked like they had longer legs with dark shoes, hose, pants. Bet yall did not know I was observing yall. I am wearing brighter and more fitted clothes now. I have started doing my nails too. I wore a skirt w/ sweater last week w/out a jacket or overshirt.

Sounds like you are just a cutie petuti today as my three year old says. I am an observer too. I like to see what people put together to get ideas. Melissa

At present I am still in my boxer pj's. Yes I am being a bum. I have lost 3-4 sizes and have already had so much fun shopping. I have bought alot of capri's with belts and cute tops. I have found that I am spending alot more time on myself. Just little things like going to the tanning bed, using lotions and stuff like that. Needless to say the new clothes has been the most fun of all. I already have so much more self confidence and I think it shows. Becky

Oh Missy, You are so right girl. I look so cute today. hee hee jk jk jk. Hope some of the others around here dont really think I am that vain. I have on the cutest black skort, with a orange top. Since I have lost weight, one place I have not lost but actually gotten bigger is my boobs. And I am very proud of that. So is my husband I might add. lol lol Maybe they were always this big but since my stomach was so big I could not notice them. hee hee I have on some leather black thong shoes. I used to never wear short skirts much less skorts cause my stomach was so big nothing like that would look good on me. I also went this weekend to Dillards and bought like $120 worth of makeup such as really bold eye shadows and blush. I always would put makeup on, but now I really get into wearing different colors to match my outfits and being really bold about aplying those colors. I am still very very conservative. Today was really cold too.. I just had on a pair of SIZE 12 khackis and a black sweater. Nuttin too fancy like you gals. I do make sure though that i have my earrings and bracelets nowadays... Didnt care before... Shhh... Dont tell the boys but I have recently purchased a couple pair of sexy panties and bras to match.. hehe.. Saw a french maid getup at Burkes the other day... I really want it.. haha... (Who said that?) I cant say I like to shop cause I dont but it is better to go now than it did 7 mos ago. I am scared to tan... I tried that sunless tanning last year at Mystic Tan where they spray you... AWFUL. Cant figure out if it was so bad cause I was so fat or if it really just sucks. Maybe I will try again soon. I was blotchy and streaky. My 2 skinny friends did it too and theirs looked good. I have even thought about getting some from Walgreens..but scared I will look orange. Havent used that stuff since Jr High.. haha --Its hard for me cause I have never been a 'girly girl'..... My friends have to remind me when its time for my eyebrows to get done. I do want to highlight my hair like yours. I think its so pretty. Christine (still stuck at -99) PS... I know what you mean. I spend more time on me too. I had my first pedicure a month ago. That was so nice. I want to do the tanning bed, but I just have not slowed down long enough. We have been so busy. But that is definitley next for me. My legs have been blinding people long enough LOL. Melissa

I am a bum today, too. Not getting dressed until 3 and then going to tan and to my daughter's ballgame so I will be wearing cutoffs and a T-shirt, which looks good on me now!!! I actually had these cutoffs put away and couldn't wait to get in them and now I could put a watermelon in there with me but I don't care, THEY FIT!! Now, tomorrow is the dress up day. I am going to see my cutie pie doctor and I have a brand new $400 outfit that I got on sale at McRae's in the designer department for $93. IT IS SO CUTE. Size 8.
