Arlies, Thank you for posting this on the mainboard as well. I couldn't bring myself to do it, But nearly did a couple of times today. At times like these we rely on our true, "Steel Magnolias." Sad news. I pray that her family will be able To find peace. So hard. Best Wishes- Dx

My heart is heavy with grief for her family. Especially knowing that all Donna was trying to do, was improve her life. It is truly a sad day for everyone here on the Mississippi board. Tammy

I noticed that Donna was having a revision. My doctor told me that this surgery has a 6% mortality rate as opposed to a 3% with a regular RNY. I am so upset that she didn't make it. How awful to be working toward improving your life and have this happen. How old was Donna? Did she have children? I was so blessed to have made it through this surgery, as we all are and we should be so thankful each and every day for the second chance at life that we got. My heart goes out to her family.
