I got a call Friday from Susan Mixon at UMC and she said she had my file in her hands and was trying to get things together for me to be cleared for surgery. Ok WL friends out there how long was it for some of you to get a date after being cleared. I don't know how much more I can stand; I am steadily gaining weight. I am eating from being so nervous. I need a few prayers headed my way. Will appreciate any feedback. Thanks, nan

It all depends on what they mean by cleared. By their standards or your Insurance standards. UMC seem to take you around the long way before getting you to where they need you to go. I wish we could have all been like Dx, I feel they all should start by seeing if your Insurance will cover first or how your pay situation will be first before getting you all hyped up. But my dr's office did the same thing and I guess it's the name of the game for some offices. I can say to my new Dr. office credit they worked fast and delingently on my case. Even when I didn't think they were working on my case they were. I saw my new Dr. in December at a seminar of which he requires you to come to first. I got an application packet that night and filled it out and had it at his office the next day. And honey I was not playing with the paper work, after you have filed it out so many times, you know it by heart. I needed Nutritional Counseling because UMC said they had only did a eval. I did that in Feb. and paper work got sent in sometime in March because of a mix up and people going on vacation and all. But thank God I have a date for April 21. It only took my insurance 3 days to approve and another few days to send the letter they have to have the letter in hand but they can start working on your hospital paper work. Now everyones situation is not this complicated, it's just the story of my life. I am glad God gave me patience and I know he did the same for you. Take Care T-4 days
