Pj is doing fine! And so were Kit-C and Sue G.!!!

Well what a great night! Went to the Hospital to the Liv-Lite Seminar And got to meet Miss Kitsy and Sue G. What sweeties. They had a long drive ahead of them home, So we only got to say "Hey!" I would have recognized Kit-C anywhere. She's the first person from the board that I've met. Now I'm driven to make it to the Mississippi Bash! Perhaps we'll need to come up with a new name so as Not to make the Bama Folks think of us as unoriginal. The Mississippi Meetin'? Before popping into the seminar, I got to check in on Pj. He's Out of ICU and in his room And doing well. He's been up walking a few times And his sister and daughter were there. What a sweet bunch of folks. I had a mini-Flash-Back seeing that "Bariatric Bed." I started to just say- "Give up on getting comfortable, It ain't gonna happen!" Instead, I encouraged him to take advantage of the Morphine! He told me to let everyone on the web know That he's doing fine and appreciates all of the Support. All in all a great little treat of an evening! Can't wait to meet us all! Best Wishes- Dx

Dx, It was so great to meet you last night. I thought the meeting was really good. I was so cold that I don't even remember what I said!!! I was shivering and my teeth were chattering. I wasn't planning on getting up and talking but Sue poked me with a sharp object and it caused me to stand up so I felt I had to speak!! LOL Sue and I met for the first time last night and she is great. We talked all the way there and all the way back. We have a lot in common. She is one great lady!! Wish you lived closer to us so you could come to our fun meetings!!! Again, it was great meeting you. You look awesome. Keep up the good work. Kitsy

Hey Kitsy, It was cold in there! I bet 2 years ago I would have been sweating though. I had to keep running in and out in the back Because my son was calling on my cell Every 5 minutes. 16 and going on 75! I hope we can all pull off a big "Family" Re-union in Mississippi Sometime soon. You're the first person from the boards that I've ever met In person. Talked to Arlies on the phone Back when I was in the hospital, So I have that "misty, morphine memory" of her. I see Walker Byars and Mickey King every week because we Go to the same church. Hey yall... Its really nice to meet people from the board. I have met a lot of great folks from this site. And some of them I actually liked... just kidding.. havent met one that I didnt like. I feel like all of yall are apart of my family - we just all live in different parts of the state. At least we are in a small state and not like Texas or soemthing. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone in June. Its going to be so exciting and will give all of us some time to really talk and get to know one another. I am fortunate that I have gotten to meet alot of folks from here but some I havent and I cant wait. I hope everyone is able to make it.... We need to try and talk Kitsy out of going to Myrtle Beach and come to the Mississippi Meetin with us.
