WHAT IS IT??
Hey Yall!!!!
What is this squishy little "bubble" I have right below the breastbone?
It's not there all the time. It is not raised when I do the "cough test" like when we are checked for a hernias. It actually feels beneath the skin and muscle. Hmmm?
What is a seronma?????
My weight loss is at a standstill but the good news is my clothes are much looser. I am happy.
My Pcp wants me to maintain this weight for a while and thinks that skin removal should be done this summer. I continue to have problems wiht skin infections on my abdomen. They are not in the "foldover of flabby skin", they are around my navel which is pretty well south bound these days. He predicts a weight loss of 20 pounds of skin when that is done. I would be happy to maintain this weight for life but I do think I really need to lose more during my 18 month "window of opportunity" . I am getting a little anxious to lose more. I'm sorry for whining. I am thankful for my 221 pound loss.
Glenda , I know you have made an appt. with your PCP about that squishy bump under your breast bone so that they may investigate what is going on. Congrads on the 221 lbs loss. Just keep pushing for weight loss until the time of PS and that will give you a little more edge. Good Luck.

I have no idea what the squishy thing could be. When first reading I thought hernia. Then read on down in your post further and maybe not hernia. I would go to my doctor and have that checked. Never can be too careful, you know.
I may be having some plastic surgery myself this summer. I hope to anyway. I hope to have the excess skin taken off my arms. I have had my consult. They are just waiting on me to set a date.
Good luck on finding out about your mystery squishy thing and please let us know what the doc says.
Hope to see you at the meeting in Hattiesburg on the 18th.

I am very proud for you Glenda! Looking already at a TT!!! That is fantastic!!!
I have no advice about your "bubble", but when I was preggers with my children, I had a blue spot on my tum in about the same place. It was a blood vein - and the pregnancy made it more visible. Could it be a blood vein that you are feeling? I dunno. Ask your Doc. He has a medical license and I don't!!!! lol
