I know I would love to have some new ideas for cooking. So I will start. Green Beans 1 can french cut 1/4 cup splenda 1/4 cup viniger 6 strips bacon fried crips or either use some real bacon bits drain the greenbeans and pour the splenda and viniger in a pot and cook for about 20 min. Fry the bacon and set aside. AFter beans cook crumble the bacon over the top and mix. These are the best green beans I have ever put in my mouth. yum yum sugar free strawberry shortcake. 1 sugar free strawberry flavored angel food cake (walmart) strawberrys (not sure how many I used prob a whole container 1 french vanilla whipped topping 1 cream cheese 1 box of sf ff vanilla pudding okay so I stole part of this from missylissy. lol lol l ol Mix the cream cheese and whipped topping together and set aside. mix the pudding up as states on box. Take the cake and use a trifle bowl tear some of the cake apart and put on bottom of bowl. then layer the straberries (cut up), pudding, cream cheese mixture. keep layering cake, strawberries, pudding, cream cheese mixture and end it with cream cheese mixture on top. To make it pretty top it off with some more strawberries. This was truly wonderful tasting. I made it for Easter Sunday dinner. The only sugar in it other than the natural sugar in the berries if 2 grams in the whipped topping. Not too bad I will post more recipes as I can remember them. lol loll Denise

YUM for the strawberry triffle!!!! I am not crazy about the green beans, but dh loves them, so I will give them a whirl too!! Pepperoni Chips (stolen from Tooter) Place pepperoni pieces on LOTS of paper towels on a plate in the microwave. Microwave until crispy and all the fat has cooked out. Excellent snack and all protein! Pimento Cheese Spread 1 8 oz block cheddar cheese (I use the Kraft no-carb kind). Several roasted red peppers (from $ General or Bill's $ - $1 a jar - don't get at Wal-mart - those have sugar are are VERY expensive!) Dried onions to taste Enough low-carb mayo to mix. Grate cheese or put it in the food processor, add roasted red peppers that have been drained, onion flakes and mayo. Eat on crackers or low-carb bread. I know I know more, but can't think! (whatever flavor you like) 1 can fruit ( I use fruit ****tail) 1 box cream cheese 1 tub of cool whip (12 oz) In a small pan put jell-o, fruit, and cream cheese. On low heat stir until all cheese is melted. Put in frig. to cool. Fold in cool whip. Salad dressing--I usually use either full fat mayo or 1 tbl. of canola oil. Not big on dressing anymore!!
