Hey Becky, I really appreciate your post and I did get a response from a lot of people wishing me the best with starting the group. Those really made me feel good about what we are trying to do. No response from anyone on the website in my area. I did talk to 2 people yesterday in my town that have had the surgery (only one is interested, my glass is half full), a dear friend of mine and I have a mutual friend from high school which has had the surgery (plus his mom). She is calling him today, he may not want anyone else to know about it..... thats why shes calling him first. She also has 3 cousins which are post op. She promised to talk to all of them. Oh yeah and she knows somone else she is waiting for him to return her call. Wooooohoooo!!!! I am going to call the paper and post an ad. All of the sudden in the last 2 days have been hearing how everyone has a relative or a friend. Maybe all the prayers are being answered for a new support group. I know God sent you to me...........
