Dr. King is my surgeon, but Dr. Byars did my scope last week. It was a breeze. Only problem was getting the tape off when I took the bandage off (ouch).

Dr. King is going to try to do mine laparoscopically, but he said he would probably have to wind up doing it open because of my body shape.

I had a revision RNY on April 1, 2004, with Dr. Byars. He is absolutely wonderful. My surgery was open as well. After having the EGD, he found that I had a lot of scar tissue from my previous surgery. The surgery was not bad at all. I was up walking later that day and kept walking more and more until the day I left. You will do fine. I love Dr. Byars and I know you, too, will be pleased. Kitsy Let me know if you have any questions. I go back to see him in late April. I can't wait to see him. I think he is so cute!!!

Lisa, I am so happy for you. Dr. Byars was my surgeon. I had the LapBand back in November. He is a great Doctor, you will be in good hands. I was worried about the EGD, but it was a breeze..... Good luck.. Michelle H.
