Ok - doesn't this sound good to y'all? I mean, I know I can pass the psych eval, and Dr. C's office does include the dietary evals - so basically I'm seeing this as a big fat YES as soon as I get these things done.
Anybody else have a letter like this? And what was your result?
I'm just so pumped that it didn't say NO right away. Doesn't sound like they are going to either - to me at least. Am I just doing a little bit of wishful thinking?
I'm so excited!

Hi Kimberly
To me, it sounds very promising, seems like they are asking for a psych eval ( I think we ALL have to do that pre-op) and some documented weight loss attempts, or maybe just an evaluation or visit with a dietician. I'm not sure if they want doctor supervised or just something they can check up on, such as weigh****chers etc. Give them a call and ask them to explain EXACTLY what they want, and have them mail you black on white what they want. Don't just take their word for it. The key word here is "DOCUMENTATION". That way, once you fulfill their requirements , they can't back out of it, since that letter is kind of vague.
I believe you're on the right track!! Good luck and let us know what they had to say

Kimberly looks like they just want a little more info. Have you already took a Psy. eval.? If so, is it that they just want the Dr. to put info. in another form or something. I am thinking like Andrea, call and ask them to clarify or have your Dr's office you are dealing with to call to get the clarification. They should be able to help you with additional help anyway. It does sound promising to me. You are right it was not a big fat NO and that is always good.
Good Luck and we will keep our fingers crossed.
