Bears Home and doing so much better.
Hey all this is Bear. I finally got released to come home to my own bed. It was so great to be able to sleep for more than an hour without anyone waking me up. I am feeling so much better, I am on the liquid diet still but no nausea or to much pain, so I can count this all as blessings.
I want to send some special thanks out to all of you for your prayers and well wishes, they have meant so much to me and to my Wife.
Ron and June Wilson are two of the most dedicated folks i have ever met in my life. There they were in the same position with June having her surgery on the same day I did and they were more worried as to how I wa and that my wife was ok. To me they are the greatest folks I have ever met.
A lil side note to angie Bea I am sorry I didnt get to meet you in person, But i do thank you so much for coming and being there for my wife and my family it was greatly appreciated hun.
To al the ones i spoke to on the phone and to those that posted here I send my love to you each and everyone and may god bless the rest of our lifes one day at a time.

Barry...
Hey there, so glad you made the trip home ok. As for Ron and I, we didn't do anything so special...I guarantee if the shoes had been on different feet you and Sheryl would have done the same.
Keep the positive attitude, Keep Drinking..and hope to see less of you soon.

Bear,
It is so great to hear that you made it home and are doing much better now. I was so sorry to hear that you had so many complications. I too, have had quite a run, but it is getting better as the days go by. I am 3 weeks out tomorrow, still having problems with a nerve on my left side but other than that I feel great. I am down 29 lbs and 16 inches already! That is enough to make you smile!! All my clothes are bagging all over!! I am going back to work this morning for the first time since my surgery!
Keep drinking, and remember it is almost impossible to meet those goals immediately, heck I still am not meeting the fluid goal and I am three weeks out. Just do the best you can, and be sure to take your vitamins!
Rhonda
Barry hun your more than welcome for the support and prayers! Dont worry about not meeting me hun, if I would have had the choice of going on, I would have went also. Yes June and Ron are absolutely wonderful, I did get to spend a little bit of time getting to know them a little. And your wife is a doll, and your family are as sweet as pie. Im sorry that I didnt get to come back during your stay at the hospital but I had to leave the next morning going out of town and didnt get back till sunday afternoon. I did keep up with your and Junes condition thru the queen. And I am soo happy to hear that your home and doing better. I cant wait to join yall!! Just take it one day at a time (as I am told)lol. Take care and get some much needed and deserved rest.
God Bless,
Angie Bea
Hi Bear... I am so glad that you are finally home. You had a couple of tough days and had everyone worried. I am glad you are doing well and are at home.
Glad the pain and nausea are going away. Wont be long and you will be 100% back to normal.
Its great to have you back on the boards. Hope to see you at our next meeting. I know you dont feel like coming tonight! We will be thinking of you though.
Christine
Hey man, I am glad you are home. Kristie told me every day was 100% better, she was right. I feel really good. I even went back to work early because I was bored at home! I did have to make a little change in the diet! I got to where the Boost and Ensure was making me dumpish (nausea, sweating, shaking, YUK). I went to GNC and got a Whey Protien that I can mix in anything (unflavored) and things have been much better.
Anyway, take things a little at a time and welcome to the club YOU BIG LOOSER!
