Barry is doing better everyday. He has his IV out now and seems to be tolerating liquids okay now. He just doesn't seem to want anything. He thinks he does but when he gets it he has changed his mind. He has been up walking inthe halls and is tired of the hospital.....also very grouchy!! I decided to let him be alone tonight.Hopefully he will be able to get some rest.I hope Dr. Cleveland said he can come home tomorrow. Thanks for everyones support.

Bear and I hope this message finds you in good spirits and feeling a little better. Mrs Bear just keep reminding Mr Bear, to take it easy and we did not get all of this excess in one day, so it will take awhile to get it back off. Don't rush things, just relax and time heals all things. Still praying for a speedy recovery. Take Care

I think it is pretty normal to not really want anything to eat or drink in the beginning. I was the same way. I thought I wanted something and then after I would take one bite or swallow, I did not want it anymore. I am so glad he is past the worst part. I know how he feels about wanting to come home, you can't get rest in a hospital, every time you fall asleep they come in and have to take your vitals. What a pain.. What he doesn't realize about the hospital, as I didn't, it sure is much easier to get in and out of that bed than it is when he gets home. My bed was much more comfy but it was harder to get out of it than it was the hospital bed that I could sit up and down. Just remind him to roll out of bed, not try to sit straight up, those muscles are going to be very very sore. I hope he gets to come home soon and he will be back to normal before long. Rhonda
