UPDATE ON BEAR!

First of all, I apologize for not posting yesterday about Barry. I tried 3 times to reach Sheryl and she was not in the waiting area. Come to find out she was in CCU the whole time with Barry. Tams told me how he was, but as soon as we hung up, my sissie called and needed to go to town and off we went. However, I got this from Sheryl so again apologies for the delay.: Bear1415 .'s Message: Hi i wanted to update you on Barry. They had to put an NG tube down his nose to suction out his stomach because of the repeated vomiting. Dr. Cleveland came by yeasterday afternoon and said he was ordering another swallow test and it could possbly show an obstruction . If so he is headed back to surgery.Th only other alternatives is he could possibly have an ileus where the intestines are just paralyzed from the anesthetic. If that is the case they will just have to wait it thru.He has stillwanted to vomit a couple of times since the nurse put the NG tube down. He still has a fever but is somewhat better. He is also VERY weak. I am on my way back to the hospital. Visiting hours start back at 8:30 am. Thanks for your prayers.

An ileus is a bad thing because you just have to hope it will wake up and flow right. If it is a blockage then maybe they can find that out and go in and fix it. I am so glad to hear from him. Thanks Jane

thanks girl. I pray that he is better soon. Thank goodness the dr worn us about most of these problems that can happen, but nothing really prepares us. I just know that he will be up and running around soon. Thanks! Denise

Arlies sorry to hear Bear is having such a hard time after surgery. I will continue to send up blessful prayers. I know that god will bring him thru lite as a feather. My to you Barry.
