One Year Anniversary!

Well folks, tomorrow is my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Hard to believe it has been a year since my surgery. This past year has been like a roller coaster. I have experienced my lowest of lows and highest of highs this past year and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I have 1 more surgery to go in about 3 weeks to fix an incisional hernia and hopefully that will bring this chapter to a happy ending. If this surgery is anything like my bypass I don't know if i'll be able to handle it. I know I am a lot healthier and in better shape now that I have lost 150lbs, but I am still worried about this surgery and at the possibility that it could end up like my last one. Guess we'll find out in about 3 weeks! Over all I have a very positive attitude about it, but every now and then I hear that little voice of negativity whispering in my ear...guess that's a normal thing. Wow! A whole year out! Isn't that wonderful?! I will be keeping you in mind about your hernia surgery. You will do alot better since you are so much smaller now...recovery will be easier. Just keep telling yourself that! Smooch Arlies

CONGRATS AFRO MAN! I hope all is going well with you! Neener Neener Neener -- I am on vacation. I hope your payroll is accurate... haha... Glenn is having to do it and I dont think he is thrilled. 150 pounds is awesome. You are doing great! I know you cant wait til the Hernia surgery. Its going to be fine though. I have all the confidence in the world. This surgery will be perfect. You will recover like lightning. Be nice to Tommy... Friday is his last day. I am gonna cry cry cry cry!!! Glad I wont be there cause I would be worthless. Give him a hard time! I hope you can come to our meeting on Monday night! Its going to be fun. See ya on Monday!
