Hey guys, I really appreciate all the prayers and positive support. I am back home and think I am doing pretty well. I started today off normally with getting up with my little man and getting him settled with breakfast adn juice. I feel pretty good actually, little pain or nausea (Whew). I go back to Dr. S's on Tuesday to get the drain out and the obesity clinic in three months. I will be off work for a couple of weeks, so I will not get the personal/direct emails from obesityhelp.com. To send direct emails, please send them to [email protected].

Hey Sweetie! I was worried yesterday when I asked for your room and was told there were no "Gibberts" registered. I spelled your name and said "Gilbert". The guy said "That's what I said no 'Gibberts' are registered here." I didn't know if he was just a tad slow or if you really weren't there! BTW when I called your house to check, your answering machine was FULL and I couldn't leave a message. I am so glad you are home and all went well. Now you be Psycho Doc Loser!!! Or we could just say you are a Loser of a Doc!!! You know we love you! Smooch, ARlies

Hey Queenie, I am not surprised about calling the hospital. "a little slow" describes many of the staff I met. The professional staff, drs. and med students (I got to meet them all) were SUPER nice. Some of the ancilliary staff left something to be desired. I am really glad April was there to help me. In a short period of time, I had her well trained in reprograming the pumps, dressing changes, etc. All in all, it was still worth it! jaems.

Welcome home James, Let me join all the other girls and tell you how happy I am for you. You now are on your way! Just don't over do it, Doc. I have a son-in-law that is a doctor and I have to remind him more than the rest of my children, to take care of himself. Smiles, Jan

YOU ARE DOING AMAZINGLY WELL.... I am glad you are feeling okay and I know you will be back to normal very quickly. Men seem to lose weight quicker than us so I know you will be thin and healthier in no time. I am jealous of all you guys! I am surprised you went home with a drain. I know several folks do that but my surgeon doesnt send us home with one. I was so ready to have that thing out. Such a pain in the butt. Im glad your back - you were missed.
