OMG Lunch was the bomb. It was so much fun!!!

I just had the best time every putting faces with names. Arlies you are a doll and Tammy I hope you took that precious baby to toys r us. lol lol Really it was great meeting ya'll and your hubby tammy. I cant wait for us to get together again. Christine you did a wonderful job. Totally not your fault you could not reach everyone!!! We need to make sure that when we do the sign in sheet at each meeting every month to jot a phone number beside our names (where we can be reached i might add) so that we have some updated numers to reach folks. Oh well had a great time and cant wait to do it again. Love ya Denise

I so wish you could have been there. We had a great time but it would have been better if you were there... I feel like I know everyone so well and so its always great to actually meet them in person and pick up like we have been friends forever. I hope you have fun on vacation next week. Tammy's daughter was just precious, a beautiful little girl. Denise, maybe they took that baby to Toys R Us. I know you would have been game- it was shopping, right? Anyway, I missed Susan, Amy, Crystal, and Terry. I hate things got messed up, but when trying to plan things with so many people especially when we are all scattered everywhere things happen sometimes, unfortunately. The updated list should be a big help in the future. I hope we have many more lunches so we can perfect our planning and organizing skills. Christine, thanks for all you did. It was wonderful. Lunch was wonderful. I was so happy to see everyone. I hate in between meetings cause I truly do miss yall... You are looking so good as is everyone else. I am glad that Tammy and Arlies and their family could come. I know it was a long drive for them but it was such a joy to have them there. As far as not being able to reach everyone I did the very best I could. I even dug out stuff from surgery so I could get the cards to get phone numbers off of them. I went thru the phonebooks like a mad woman on a mission. All I can say is I tried. I am glad Elesha was able to make it even though her daughter has pneumonia.. Poor thing. I know her kids have been in and out of being sick. Having 4 kids is wonderful but I cant imagine them when they get sick. Its a great idea about the phone numbers on the sign in sheet. I think we did this a long time ago but I dont think we have done it in awhile. Our group has gotten so big. And we need to mention to the ones who dont come to this board that we do have these luncheons and want to be able to contact them when we plan one. Hey, We had a GREAT time. Met a lot of great people. Good food. What more could anyone ask for. No, we didn't do T.R.U. though !!! She has enough junk as it is !!! It was great meeting everyone. Wish everyone else would have made it, but things happen. Just a thought for next time....... When things like this are planned on the internet & someone is planning on going, they (the person wanting to go) should go back & look to make sure there hasn't been any changes or anything. Because, I'm sure that is the place that any changes would be listed. And things do change sometimes. Even when you don't want them to. I checked last night before going to bed & again this mornning before leaving just to be safe. Because we came from Meridian & Decatur. Which means we drove a right good piece. In other words..... ALWAYS CONFIRM !!! Even at the last minute !!! Tammy

I loved it!!! It was wonderful meeting all ya'll. All of you were so sweet and gorgeous and it gave me great thrills to see surgery patients eating REAL food - steak and salad even! Someday! I had so much fun.....We might make a habit of this! Smooch Arlies
