I'm an Aunt

I owe Christine an apology. I had mentioned with so many of us coming to the lunch, we probably needed to notify Chesterfield's and then she got stuck making all the arrangements and changes because I went MIA. But it was for a good cause. My sister was having her first baby, and I got home around 2:00 am and got in bed around 2:30 am. I may sleep through our lunch, but I will be there. My sister and I are really close and she went into labor 3-1/2 weeks early because of her Crohn's Disease. I knew I had to work today, but I couldn't pull myself away from that hospital for nothing. It was worth staying for. My nephew is just beautiful. I can't wait to get my hands on him and get all of his sugar. He weighed 7 lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long. If he had been full term, he would have been too big for her to have I do believe. THey named him Braxton William. Well, anyway please forgive me for going missing on the board for a little while during the lunch plan location crisis. I will do better next time. Please remember my sister in the next several weeks, as well. As soon as she recovers, she will probably have to have a portion of her intestines removed due to her Crohn's Disease. She has had a really tough time the last two years since her diagnosis. See everyone at lunch. I can't wait. Melissa Taylor

I got all of his sugar. I tried to just sneak out with him, but my brother-n-law wouldn't have that. Darn it!! I tried though. He is so little I thought I could just sneak off with him. He is too cute. Mother and baby are doing well. Melissa

Dont sweat it Melissa... I totally understand. That baby is way more important than me rescheduling a lunch. You must bring pictures of that precious thing to our next meeting..Better yet -- just bring him. I bet he is a doll. I hope your sister is doing well and enjoying her son. I know things happen and I shouldn't worry about it, but I just hate those few missed out on meeting you great people who drove so far. It was really nice meeting you guys and I hope we can get together again soon. Maybe this time on a weekend when we can visit and have more time. I wish you could get some of his sugar because that was the sweetest sugar. I just got home from seeing him. He was looking around and really alert. He has the prettiest skin and big eyes. I wanted to sneak him out in my purse but sissy and brother-n-law are too in tune. Oh well, I tried. Thank you for the compliment. It has been a long road and lots of hard work to get here but well worth it I must say. You will be right here with me in no time. From lunch to lunch we won't recognize our queen LOL. You seem like you feel really good and are doing well. Keep it up. I enjoyed meeting you and Tammy. She is a hoot. I bet you guys have lots of fun.
