6 more days...

Well I finished my pre-op testing yesterday and now am anxiously awaiting the passing of the next 6 days. I am a little nervous, but I guess that's pretty normal. I started my slim fast yesterday and it wasn't bad at all and the water is getting better. I have been averaging about 50 oz a day. I bought some of the First Harvest flavored water at Walmart and it is great. I love the strawberry-kiwi. They also had some "flavor sticks". I bought the u/s peach tea. You just put the contents in a bottle of water and shake it up. Not bad. I can't wait to join all you other losers. Keep me in your prayers. It's been a long journey. June

Hi June, I am so excited for you. You will be slim before you know it. Thanks for the hint about the water. Who is your doctor? Were you at UMC yesterday? I was and I think I saw you and your husband. It's one of those things where you see a face and you know you should know that person but can't place them. Hi June! hey, I bet you're all excited, and you have every reason to be, you're about to have surgery! Yeayyyy!! I'm so happy for everyone who's been given the opportunity for a better life by surgery, and of course, you're in my prayers as well for a quick recovery. Just remember, do things at your pace, sip sip sip and walk walk walk. Those flavor packs for the water, I've been getting them for the last 3 months now and have become totally hooked on the generic wal mart brand peach tea. This makes it possible for me to get five 20 oz bottles of water a day, keeping me hydrated. Just do your best, no one will expect you to get down 64 oz of water a day in the first few weeks. Wooooooohooooooooo I cheated I did all my preops when I had the scope done. HEHEHEHEHEHE But I too know the nervousness feeling it is getting a lil stronger every day. But I have faith that both our Docs ar going to do such a great job on us and we will be recovering together soon. I will see you bright and early on the 14th I am sure they have told me to be there between 530 and 6 so Hope to see you before you go into surgery if not maybe before we get out of the hospital. Maybe we can meet in our walks around the floor hahahah it is great having someone else having surgery same day this way we have something to talk about in the halls lol. you are in our prayers June, Barry and Sheryl
