We are back home! Rhonda really had a tough day or two. Tuesday was miserable! It was around 1 before she got into surgery and after 5 when she came out. And then after she woke up, she was such a sick little chick-a-dee. We got terribly worried. I think Jay said the heaves and up-chucks lasted a total of 20 hours. It was agony for us and poor Rhonda. Then ta-da!!!! they gave her some meds and she became the old Rhonda again!!! Even Dr. Mann was very worried. He was afraid that she would rupture or tear something loose because of the violent up-chucks and that REALLY scared us when we saw he was getting worried. PLUS, Rhonda's IV infiltrated and it took 25 sticks to get a new one in....YEP TWENTY-FIVE STICKS!!! And bless Rhonda's heart, she lay there and didn't say a word. (She told me later that at that point, she just didn't care anymore.) I would have cussed the whole hospital!!! And Mary buzzed thru like a trooper! Her main problem was the roommates she got. First it was an old lady who was deaf. Her son talked to her constantly in a loud, loud voice - Personally, I would have killed the son if I'd been Mary. Then she got "Marge Simpson" as a roommate. I know she'll be glad to get home so she can rest. She really looked good the whole time and was even smiling!!! She has a really nice hubby and best friend. Oh, and by, the way, Brandon, Rhonda's 14 year old, is awesome!!! I really liked him. He is alot of fun! And I have lost another 15 lbs!!! Go me!!! I weighed on Tuesday and then again on Wednesday and had lost 1.2 more pounds on Wednesday, but I am not gonna count that yet! Smoochies, Arlies

What a great gal you are. I know she appreciated your support. WHAT A FRIEND! I looked at your profile Arlies. I am impressed with your weight loss. I am still jealous of the red beans/rice and biscuit you ate a few weeks ago. That was so funny what you posted. I have missed seeing you on the board. Any support meetings in Meridian during Spring Break? I might run up there to shop. (my pants are getting too large whooo!! However my weight loss has slowed.) Feels good to buy 16 after all the other big mama sizes I have worn (or have not been able to wear!!!!!) Found a pair of name brand jeans in a box in the closet from years ago--when I was thin. THEY FIT. I'm talking 10 plus years ago. They are straight legged. I washed the dust off those babies and I intend to wear them ASAP. Word to all losers. IF YOU BUY NEW CLOTHES --DON'T BUY TOO MANY AND FOR GOODNESS SAKE ----KEEP YOUR RECEIPT THEY MAY BE TOO BIG BY THE TIME YOU GET READY TO WEAR THEM. I have found that Wal-mart has a great selection of lycra enhanced capris and pants. A great selection of spring an summer tops. Try the faded glory stretch tees these will last a couple of sizes. WOW --comfy!!!! ($5.97 TO 7.97) I am not paid to advertise for Wal-mart tho I am an associate and stockholder (will use for tummy tuck!!!) THIS IS JUST FRIEND TO FRIEND SHARING.
