what i saw on gma this morning
there were 3 sisters that had wls and had lost a total of 370lbs combined, but that wasnt the amazing part with no surprise to me. one of the sisters had some major complications after surgery, it took her 3 days to wake up and had some other stuff after that. but you know what she said? she said she would have still done it all over!!! she said that she new that she wouldve been dead in 2 years or seriously ill. so all of you thinking of having this surgery but scared of what could happen(which is completely normal i was scared to death)just keep this in mind and good luck and this also makes me thankful that i had no complications and am so glad i have my life back and im only 5 months out i can only imagine what i will feel like in 1 year!!!! love you guys!!

I am glad I had this surgery too. I certainly have my life back and enjoying every minute of it. I am very grateful that I have not had any complications, and I pray for those that do will have speedy recoveries and much success.
Hey Crystal, we are having lunch on March 9 at Chesterfield's at 11:30. That is on Wednesday. I hope you can make it. We missed you last time.
Sorry to change the subject all of the sudden but I wanted to make sure you knew about it.

I lost 141 pounds in 10 months. No diet I have ever tried has ever done that for me. Plus I have held onto it for 4 months now. I have lost weight before but never maintained. So I am really proud and excited to be able to not only lose the weight with this surgery but so far maintenance has not been a problem. I just have to stay focused and hopefully I will have a healthy future for years to come.
