So far, so good, I think. I have been using exercise to fill my void. I was a little anxious the other night and couldn't get settled and I dang sure wanted to eat. But I did not. I went outside in the drive way at 9:00 at night and jumped rope with my new weighted rope. I did so until I was completely out of breath and no longer anxious. It felt so good. I went right in and went to bed. Go figure. My dad has not been doing well lately, and I have been extremely worried and anxious and really having to fill some voids without eating. It is surely tough sometimes. I know one morning last week I ran/walked 4 miles before I felt like I wouldn't want to eat still. I guess I sure am lucky I can go that long because any less than that I think I would still have wanted to eat LOL. Melissa

I am sorry to hear your dad is still having problems. I hope it gets better soon. I know its hard on everyone. My lunch came from Turtle Creek Mall --that J&J Cajun place... I went to Dillards last night and bought some stuff since they are having that big sale... I bought a pair of size 14 Calvin Kleins. I got home and they were too big so I had to take them back at lunch. While I was there I got another pair too... If you need to shop now is the time to do it. They marked everything down 75% and then came behind that and marked that stuff down an additional 40% off. I got my jeans for $18.00 --- regularly priced at $59.00... I want to go back after I get off but I have so much to do. But, seriously--nows the time. I also got a Tommy Hilfiger shirt for $13.00. It was reg priced at $49.00. The kids clothes are marked down too. I got my daughter a pair of BeBop jeans for $6.00. Several shirts for less than $7.00 each. Sale is over Saturday! Talk to ya later! Christine

Can I ask how much you weighed when you had your surgery? I can't imagine what it would be like to go to a regular store and buy size 14 jeans and have them fit, much less be too big!! June

Hey June. I was 266 morning of surgery. My highest was 275. Yes, it feels so good. I have never had a pair of Calvin Kleins so I am stoked. I have them on today... hehe... This morning I weighed and it was 185.00. Thats 81 pounds gone!!!

I was a bad girl....But did you know that you can get the red beans and rice at Popeye's without the rice??? They are great and if'n you get a biscuit, you can crumble part of it up in the beans and it is terrific!!! But to make amends, for supper, I had 1 slice turkey ham (98% fat free) and one slice cajun turkey and a baby bel cheese....Also philly swirls! Smooch Arlies
