Being Positive
As I was sitting in a doctor's office waiting room I read an article about the benefits of waking up every morning and finding 5 things to be happy or positive about. The article said that people who wake up finding positive things to think about were less stressed and negative throughout the day. I don't know about you guys but I need to feel less stressed because I have a tendency to be a stress snacker. So here goes.
1. God allowed me to wake up this morning and have another day of life.
2. My kids are healthy and happy.
3. My husband is very supportive and I am very blessed to have him.
4. I have made lots of new, supportive friends this past year since surgery. Thanks, you guys for being here.
5. I have lots of energy and feel great. I can run and play with my children and not get out of breath.

Hi Melissa, This is a good post and so here is my reply to being positive today.
1). I am also glad God allowed me another day to be among the living.
2). I am thankful I have the ability to get around on my own and not seem like a burden to someone.
3). I am very glad my family is happy, safe and healthy.
4). Very glad to be celebrating my 20th year annarversity this year with my soul-mate and best friend for life.
5). Very positive that I will be getting surgery this year for a happier and healthier me.

Thank you, Glenda. You are truly an inspiration, too. I think we all should be proud of ourselves for how far we have all come in our journey to better our health and our overall lives. I am glad to know you as well and hope to know you better and better as we continue to support one another.
