Insurance stuff..

Ok - It was 2 weeks last Thursday since my initial appointment. They (doc's office) told me to give them 30 days, and if I didn't hear anything to start calling my insurance company. They told me it would take them 2 weeks to get the paperwork to the insurance. Well - you know me. I'm as impatient as they come, so what do I do???? Well, I called the ins. company today. They haven't gotten anything. (hope I didn't set off any warnings!) Anyway, I got the fax number to send to the correct dept. I remember them saying in the seminar that if we got that number they'd fax the stuff that day. HMMMMM I'm thinking I'm going to call them (docs office) in the A.M. and give em this number and see what the hold up is! My insurace company said that once they got the initial paperwork, they'd have an answer within 10 days! 10 DAYS!!!!!!!! I hope my doc's office doesn't think I'm a pest - but I just wanna get the ball rolling! LOL HUGS Kimberly - who just wanted to ramble on and on for a while

I don't blame you one bit for being impatient. You have to stay on top of these people so that they don't drop the ball. This is a very important thing in YOUR life, the people at the docs office and ins company don't care, so they are in no hurry. If you continue to bug them (in a NICE way) they will get it done much faster just to get you to leave them alone! The docs office should have already sent it, I would definitely call to find out what the hold up is, it should only take them five minutes to fax it to the company. Best of Luck.. Thanks Rhonda! I did call the docs office today and they couldn't tell me whether it had been sent or not! ????? They are moving offices I think and I'm worried about getting dropped through the cracks. They did tell me to leave a message on Jeanie's voice mail with the fax number - so I did. I also asked her to call me back - but no call today. Maybe tomorrow?! I don't want to lose faith in these people and have to start all over. Because of my job and vacations and stuff, I have a fairly small window where I can get this done this year without it being a big deal. I'm hoping to accomplish my time frame, and whatever amount of prodding I have to do to get it done I'm willing to do! HUGS Kimberly
