Still Waiting

Hi guys, I am still waiting on an approvable and a date. I got a call from Janet my doctors head nurse yesterday on Valentine's Day to set up date for my nutritional counseling with Dr. Carson for Monday the 21th. Now that was one of my Valentine's presents. We are still waiting on approveable from the Insurance, Janet says no news is good news and the one's they get back in a couple of days be a quick NO. I'll have to take her word for it, she's the expert at this by now. Thank GOD I haven't gotten that. It's just the waiting is making me , it makes you start second guessing, saying what if. I have already been approved thru Voc. Rehab. but the situation in Jackson is not looking advertising right now. Do anyone know of other places that takes Voc. Rehab. just in case. How is everyone else in the pre-op stage of this journey? I know our time is coming, but when, when? ? Why must we through soo many hoops. Take Care Just Venting!!!

Hey girl... I know how frustrating the wait is. Been there, done that! My appt with Dr. Carson is on the 21st as well. Mine is 2-3. My sisters is 4-5. THen we have the meeting that night. I am looking forward to chatting with him. He is so good! My first No came after 6 hours of review. My second No came after 18 days and then my approval came after 4 days. I called insurance EVERY DAY to check the status. Have you done this? I do not know of anyone else that takes Voc Rehab but even if you have to wait you will get the surgery thru one or the other. Are you going to be at the meeting on the 21st? Hope to see you there! Christine -77

Yes Christine, I will be at the meeting on the 21th. My appt. is at 10:30 to 11:30 day. No, I haven't checked my insurance yet but will be checking in the morning. Janet said she was going to but I know sometimes she gets caught up and can't do it all. Maybe I find out something tomorrow. Take Care

Hang in there girl! I know it must be frustrating to wait for approval. I was one of the lucky ones and got a quick approval so I can only imagine how you feel.
