PRAYERS FOR EM, PLEASE!

Hey Gang, It's a great Saturday morning for ALL except poor sweet little EM, who does not get to sleep late and lounge around today. She is gonna be up at 6:30 to be at ECCC by 8 AM to take the ACT test!!! She is in the Talented & Gifted Class at Newton County. Duke University sponsors a program where, beginning in the 7th grade, the TAG students can take the ACT - and it doesn't count unless you request that it count. (Rumor is most 7th grade TAG kids score as well or better than most high school seniors!) (Em is a 7th grader.) She has her calculator, 5 or 6 pre-sharpened #2s, a snickers bar, and some roasted cashews in her purse so she is about as ready as she can be. Afterwards, Mrs. Wanda (TAG teacher) is gonna take the TAG kids to Pizza Hut, her treat!!! 3 of them are taking the test this am: Em, Ashley & Colt so remember them all! AFTERWARDS, they will have a great time since they are all good buddies. Can you imagine being a lowly 7th grader up amongst all those juniors and seniors taking the ACT???? But trust me, Em & Ashley could take 'em without Colt's help!! So please remember these bright, young kiddos as you go about your morning! Smoochies Arlies

Hi Arlies, I'm crossing my fingers for Em, I'm sure she's gonna score as well as some seniors My 10th grader, who's in the Louisiana school system's gifted and talented program since 1st grade, and now in the advanced classes ( all but math ) in highschool, just took her ACT alongside the Seniors and Juniors a few weeks ago. Can't wait to see how she's scored So here I am, rooting for Em, let her know she's got all kinds of people who were thinking of her Have a great day! ~~Andie~~
