4 Month Update
Hi guys! I jumped on board and I changed my name too..
Today was the 4 month mark for me. My surgery was October 7, 2004. To date I have lost 75 pounds exactly from surgery and life is wonderful.
We are going on vacation next month and I have been buying clothes that I knew would not fit me yet but I figured I could wear them by then. I tried them on over the weekend and they fit me perfectly. They are 14's and yall it feels so good to not be in 22's anymore. I am getting alot of compliments lately and that really does alot for me.. I am so used to being fat and not getting compliments that sometimes I just dont know how to handle them.
My biggest fear is that in a year or 2 my weight will begin to come back and I will end up where I started. I pray daily that this does not happen. I guess we all worry about that.
I havent been on board alot for the past week but I will try to do better this week.
I am 16 pounds away from my surgeons goal of 175. I am 31 pounds away from my personal goal of 160. I hope I can do this. Its getting easier as time goes by.
So happy to hear about everyones surgery dates and that everyone is doing okay. Cant wait to see you all again.

We are going to see my family in West Virginia. Last time we went we drove and it took us 16 hours. WE WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. We are flying out here and landing in Baltimore. We have a rental car reserved and we are so excited to get out of here. Its supposed to snow while we are there and so we are looking forward to that. Thats if the almanac is accurate. This is hubbys first time on a plane and in snow --so it will be an experience... Real snow I mean.
This is our 10 year anniversary this year and I wanted to go on a cruise to Cozumel. Hubby only gets 1 week vacation so he had to choose which one he wanted to do more. I just think it would have been so fun. I guess we will just go to New Orleans or something for our anniversary.
Nothing for hubby unless a new bra counts.. haha...
I hope I am at goal when we go! Wouldnt it be a shocker!!
Hiya Christine!
You are doing so wonderfully great! And looking awesome!
I hope that you have a wonderful vacation, you deserve it.
Oh, my DH went to wal-mart 2 days ago and bought me part of my Valentine's present. A 8-speed RoadMaster Sports Mountain Bike. It's Blue and so pretty. He even bought me a big jel seat so it would be more comfy to my boo-tay! And a water bottle holder. He is the greatest.
Keep up the good work! And I pray that you have much success.

I just wish my gut would go AWAY! That seems to be the only thing left to get rid of.
I do deserve this vacation and I need it!
Congrats on the bike... I have a gel seat on mine too. My butt hurt for a couple of rides but it eventually quit hurting. I need a water bottle holder. Havent been riding though in 2 weeks.
Way to go on your 108 loss... Doesnt it feel great!!

That is great news Christine and you do look great. Just think you are only 4 months out I will be scared of you at 6 months out. I know you will have reached your goal in 6 months and then the real work starts, maintaining which should be easy because you will still be in the honeymoon stage. You can't beat that. So here's to you. Take care.
