Josh is back to normal thanks to prayer.

Hi Gang, I'm Joshua's Dad (Ed) and I'm happy to report all is well once again. We are still uncertain of what happened. All lab work came back normal on every test that was performed. We initally thought his body was unstable due to missing vitamin's or other proteins.....However the intense pain in his joints moved around almost every few hours and resulted in several days of hospital care. For the last couple of weeks, he has had intense pain somewhere on his body throughout his joints (hands, knees,wrist, etc) . His life and ours came to sudden stop and all we could do is give him Loritab for pain. His doctors eventually treated him with celebrx (low dosage) and said to wait for more testing. We finally did what we should have to start with...we took him to church and had our most spiritual members pray for him. Now I have to admit this was a big leap of faith for me.. but we had tried everthing that modern medicine could think of. Within 24 hours of that group of members laying their hands on him and praying, he had no pain for the first time in 3 weeks. All it took was a little faith. He is now normal and by the way since 14 Dec, down 52 lbs. See everyone at the Merdian Support Meeting. Later, ED

Hi Ed, Thanks for updating us on Josh, I've been wondering about what's going on. I'm convinced that sometimes faith is our ONLY help and although I don't usually talk much about it, I strongly believe in a higher power. There have been so many instances in my life when I didn't see a solution and when I just put it in HIS hands, HE came through for me, laying his path out right in front of me. Many things in our lives just cannot be explained with reasoning and science. I'm just happy that Josh is doing fine now and everything's okay. Please tell him hi from his angel, and "congrats" on those 52lbs !! Awesome! ~~Andie~~

Ed, Thanks for keeping us updated on Josh. That just goes to show God really does work miracles when he is called upon. I am so thankful Josh is doing better. His weight loss is great. I'm sure he is starting to feel like a different person. Becky

We certainly believe in laying on of hands and anointing of oil. It can be wonderful and so good. God is good! We can always count on Him. Sometimes we just have to remember who is in charge. So glad you made the move toward Him! Always praying Jane
