Gallbladder surgery Wednesday 5/24.
Just wanted to let everyone know I will be having my Gallbladder surgery on Wednesday May 24. Since Keesler hospital is still not up and running, it will be performed at the Biloxi Veterans Hospital. Please pray for me that my surgery is quick and painless. I appreciate everyone's support.
Love,
Rhonda
I don't know how it compares to GBS but hate to say mine was painful. They make you get up & walk around. They say the more you walk the faster you heal. Lots of people say it aint nothing, but I wasn't one of those people..maybe I'm weak. Don't know if it makes any difference but I did have an extra incision (cant spell) cuz I had a loose stone in the bile duct. It may not be real PAIN but you bet after a week you'll still be sore & tender. I'll pray for ya! You will feel 100% better after that evil thing is gone lol!
Thanks, with any surgery, walking is good, to help prevent blood clots and to help with the soreness. Luckily gallbladder surgery is done as outpatient and I will be going home the same day as long as there are no complications.
I am looking forward to being pain free, I have the worst pain in my chest that has been there for several days if not a week, feels like the worst case of heart burn I have ever had, but I know it is caused by my gallbladder. It makes me totally miserable. I am thankful that it is being taken care of soon. Thanks for the prayers..
Still looking forward to meeting you soon!
Rhonda
Bless your heart! I will be praying for you and I hope you have a speedy recovery. I can say that I had my gallbladder out two years ago and it wasn't too bad. The worst part for me was trying to sleep. I sleep on my tummy and this is impossible when you have 4 little inscision sites on your tummy! lol
Best wishes,
Marci
