Frances you can do anything you put your mine to. I just finished college at 40 and I'm a mother of three, my oldiest being 18 almost 19, the others 9 & 6. So you see it can be done. Sit back take a deep breath and go for it. Good luck!!!!

Hi Frances. I started back to school December 2003 and I have LOVED it. It is amazing how much more you enjoy learning when you are an adult versus when you were in high school. My son is 14 and in the 8th grade, and he and I are studying some of the same things in our history and science classes. It is a lot of fun to learn with him. Trust me, you can do it! This semester I am taking four classes and working full time. I have managed to keep a GPA of 3.86 and that is including taking College Algebra that I thought would absolutely kill me because I could never pass it in high school but I made an A in it. Where will you be attending school at? I also take some classes online and it is really neat and pretty easy. If you need any help or have any questions, email me and I will try to assist you in any way possible! Rhonda

A lot of colleges have online courses that you can take at home and never have to even go to class. Some people like them and some need the discipline of the classroom. I like both! I am taking three online and one in class this quarter. This is the most I have taken at one time, but I am handling it okay. I am trying to get ahead on my online classes before my surgery so that I don't fall behind. Tech schools are good too. There are all different types of financial aid available to, so be sure to research that as well. Good luck! Rhonda
