I swallowed a grape
Oh, the misery. Just as I put half a grape into my mouth, I had to sneeze. And guess what, I sucked it down whole. No chewing had been done at all. And these were big grapes. So half a one was big. Well, it made me sick. It was stuck or something. I tried and tried to throw up to no avail. Finally the little sucker went through and oh, the relief. I thought I was dying for a little while, but I made it. But I can tell you this, I do not crave grapes at this moment and won't for some time I am sure. So careful those sneezes that come on suddenly could turn a good meal bad LOL.
Have a good weekend everyone!

OH MY GOSH! Bless your heart. I bet that was miserable. I went to lunch today at Chesterfields and ordered the chicken plate we got last time. Well, this time I was more into the rice than the chicken. I ate too much or it swelled or something. I was hurting pretty bad. I went to the bathroom and tried to throw up--nothing. Just cant seem to make myself throw up anymore. Haha..
So, now that you have me craving grapes--guess I'll go suck on a mint!
Are yall going to any parades this weekend...We are going to the Krewe Of Gemeni on the coast tomorrow. I am too old and too scared to go to New Orleans. I wanted to go to the big night parade on Fat Tuesday but I cant get anyone to go with me. Old Farts!
Yall have a good weekend --glad you are ok---no more sneezing!!

Well, I guess we have both just been a little miserable today. Me due to a grape you due to rice. But at least we both feel better now.
We are not planning on going to any parades. Catherine is only three and sometimes those things can get a little rough. Plus she is a live wire and I get paranoid about losing her in a crowd. We are going to a big Super Bowl Fish Fry on Sunday afternoon at some friends of my parents in Wiggins. So back to Wiggins this weekend. It will be fun though. There is supposed to be alot of people there. It was so funny, my mom's friend called and told my mother to tell me to bring those good tea cake cookies I brought last weekend. Little do they know they were made with Splenda and Splenda Blend. Just goes to show it can be low sugar, low fat and still quite tasty.
Well, I think I will go have a sour mint. You slung a craving on me Christine. Hey, where has Elisha been?
Hugs,
Melissa Taylor
Sorry to hear that Melissa that really sounded painful. During that time a good would have came in handy. Where are they when you need them? We went to parades last weekend on the coast, one in Gulf Port at 2:00 and one in Gautier at night at 7:00p.m. My boys may be riding in one at Pass Christian if we can get up that early. Afterwards we will be going to a super bowl on the coast also.
Anyway you all have a great week-end and Super Bowl week-end.
I agree Melissa, where is Elesha?
Elesha, Elesha please come out and play.
Hi Ladies,
I'm here! Sorry about the grape episode. I'm sure that was one scary event.
I saw you mention SF Tea Cakes and I need your recipe. I saw the post this pm and got the urge to experiment to make my own. They were an awful disaster! They had a floury taste that was unappetizing. I'm sure everyone would like to see it posted.
Thanks for thinking of me Melissa and Redd.
See ya around,
Elesha
