HEY YALL- Feb. 2 is my WLS first anniversary. I went to PCP for checkup. All my electrolytes are fine. I have now LOST 211 pounds in one year. Wow!!! PCP said 30 more and he wanted to refer me for skin removal. The first thing I did was to go and pay off a diamond ring I had on layaway. Thought I deserved the treat. Guess what-- it fit (now). Glenda, how in the world did you get BCBS to pay for your surgery. I have the teacher's plan and they wouldn't touch it! Curious to know. Kitsy

They didn't !!! I've got to make that clearer in my profile. They paid $38.00 for cardiologist to do my pre-op. They paid for sleep lab because PCP referred me to someone here in Laurel.
