KUDOS TO CRYSTAL GREEN!!!

Crystal, thanks to you I had the BEST supper tonight!!! It was based on your recipe the other day for mexican rice and black beans. Here's what I did. 1 cup uncooked brown rice 1 package pre-cooked Mexican style Hamburger meat (that new stuff in the foil packet, it's pretty good!) I can black beans Cook rice according to package directions. Drain and rinse black beans. Mix rice, beans, and Mexican style hamburger together. Let it all get warm or hot. Per ounce Calories: 39 Fat: 1 gram Carbs: 4.5 grams Protein: 3 grams Jim (I could've killed him!!!) put his on a bed of lettuce. Then added cheese, salsa and Ranch dressing. YUM!!!! I weighed out 3 ounces, put 1 tablespoon of salsa on it and 1 tsp of REAL ranch dressing and 1/2 slice fat-free cheese. It really needs lettuce under it, green onions and black olives on top in addition to the salsa and ranch dressing. Em ate hers plain with corn tortillas. Cyrstal suggests you put them in tortillas with lettuce, chopped tomatoe, green onions, etc. Gang, My pouch is smiling from ear to ear!!!!! I loved it!!!! So smoochers to Crystal!
